The EZ-7® plug's modular design features wiring that doesn't attach directly to the J560 receptacle. Instead, all wires are permanently attached to stacking studs located in the base of the box. These studs are connected to a fixed outlet. The J560 receptacle plugs into the outlet and is secured simply by two fasteners.
Easy repair if the receptacle is damaged and needs to be replaced. There is no longer a need to reconnect all the wiring to the new receptacle. Simply remove the fasteners that hold the old receptacle in place and unplug it from the box. Plug in a new receptacle, replace the fasteners and you're back on the road! All trailer wires remain connected and undisturbed.
